Date of Birth: November 28, 1969
Nationality:
Canadian
Currently Living in: Canada (Vancouver, British Columbia?)
Marital Status: Married to actress Brandy Ledford (previously credited under the name of Brandy Sanders) who portrayed "Dawn Masterton" -- a physiology and kinesiology specialist -- on Baywatch Hawaii. She works in Hawaii part of the year so their child stays with her but Martin flies over frequently to visit. You may recall seeing Brandy in the season four P:TL episode "Gaslight" playing "Vicky." She has also been in episodes of The Outer Limits, First Wave, Walker Texas Ranger, Married with Children and movies such as Demolition Man, Indecent Behavior and other made-for-tv movies. According to the IMDb, the beautiful Ms Brandy was also Penthouse Pet of the month in June 1990 as "Jisel" and Penthouse Pet of the Year 1992.
Children: At least one, some reports say a daughter some say a son but it doesn't really matter 'cause it's none of our business.
Pets: a dog named "Jackson!" (possibly a Bull terrier.)
Family: Martin's Dad is John Cummins, who is/was a Member of Parliament, - Reform Party, member of the Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans. Do NOT try to get in contact with Martin via his father.

First posted after someone saw this info in her husband's yearbook and confirmed by Ian who was one year behind Martin at Seaquam. (5/21/98):

Graduated: 1987 from Seaquam Secondary School in North Delta (North Delta is part of Delta, a suburb of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.)

In his own words, his most embarassing moment was: "I was singing in 'Guys and Dolls' in front of an audience of 300 with my flag at half mast."

Voted "Most likely to become famous" and "Most likely to host a tv gameshow" by his class.

Ian said he remembered him "because of a pep rally where he was lip-synching as if he was Bono in U2. It was kind of bad. I also remember seeing him in that old, short-lived CBC show [Pilot One]. He wasn't too bad, but the overall show sucked."

Danielle S. sent this info 1/97: I saw that Martin was a presenter at the Leo Awards on May 5, 1996 in Vancouver.

Kathy sent in this info 1/97: Guess what? I was just watching this movie called 'The Substitute' on the USA network and who should be in it but Martin Cummins and that gal that played Liz in 'Do Not Go Gently' - they both played a couple of high school students. Boy MC was *young* in this!

MGM - "Cummins' landed his first television role at 16, as a lead in the series' FIFTEEN, a teen drama syndicated in the U.S. This was followed by another series' role, as one of 4 teen hosts on PILOT ONE, a hip, late-night variety series' for CBC TV."
